WWE Referee Chloe Christmas has been given a new name and it may be a coincidence or some are saying it may be a rib on former WWE NXT Women’s Champion Paige.
Chloe Christmas, who works as a referee on 205 Live and NXT, will now be known as Paige. The change was made within the last couple of days, as of recently she has changed her social media accounts to reflect the new name.
In a coincidence Chloe initially tried out for WWE in March of 2020, two of Paige’s family members (Zak Bevis and Ricky Knight Jr.) were said to be at the tryouts.
Paige has not been seen in any in-ring action since 2017 when she suffered a neck injury during a house match against Sasha Banks. Since her injury, Paige has still been active with the WWE even though the job only lasted a short time we saw her acting as Smackdown GM in April of 2018. She has sporadically made appearances on many other WWE shows and segments including BackStage and the Bump. She has recently stated that she would be making a comeback to wrestling so only time will tell.
