Adam Cole on Reuniting With Kyle O’Reilly: “I Would Love That”
This year’s Chicago Comic & Entertainment Expo (C2E2) once again housed members of the All Elite Wrestling roster.
During a panel that included the likes of Ruby Soho, The Gunn Club, Hangman Adam Page, Christopher Daniels, CM Punk, and Adam Cole, a fan asked Cole about a possible reunion between himself, the recently signed Bobby Fish, and free agent Kyle O’Reilly. “This is the honest to God truth. I have no idea what Kyle is going to do, I really don’t. I’m not even sure he knows exactly what he’s going to do. But the idea of getting to reunite with Kyle as well as Bobby? Hell yeah, I would love that.”
Cole, O’Reilly, and Fish, along with NXT’s Roderick Strong, were members of the Undisputed Era stable in WWE’s NXT. Over the course of their dominant reign over the brand, they would become the first stable on the black and yellow brand to handle all the men’s championship titles at once.
In early 2021, the group officially split after Cole turned on O’Reilly at NXT TakeOver: Vengeance Day. They would then feud until Cole officially signed with AEW after his contract was up in August. Fish made his first appearance in AEW on the October 6 episode of Dynamite.
