GameChanger Wrestling has announced that ROH World Champion Jonathan Gresham will defend his title against GCW mainstay Blake Christian at The Wrld On GCW. The show will take place at the Hammerstein Ballroom in New York, NY on January 23, 2022. This is the first match announced for GCW’s Hammerstein Ballroom debut.
Gresham succesfully defended his championship against A.J. Gray at GCW Blood on the Hills on December 17th, just six days after winning the belt at ROH Final Battle. Also at Blood on the Hills, Blake Christian emerged victorious against Alex Zayne and challenged Gresham in a promo after the match. The Wrld on GCW is currently sold out and will feature the Indie Wrestling Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony & Gala. Talent announced to appear at the show include Jerry Lynn and Homicide who will be honored at the ceremony. Fans can stay tuned for more announcements.
