Another Huge Round Of WWE Releases; Including William Regal, Road Dogg, And More NXT 2.0 Superstars

Another huge wave of WWE releases happened today. This time once again being a purge of NXT talent and backstage staff.

According to Sean Ross Sapp of Fightul, WWE has released William Regal, Producer Road Dogg Brian James, Coach Ace Steel, Writer Ryan Katz, Scott Armstrong, Cathy Corino – also known as Allison Danger, George Carroll, Dave Kapoor – fka Raijin Singh, Hideki Suzuki, Danny Burch, and Timothy Thatcher.

Additionally, PWInsider has reported that WWE’s Senior VP of Consumer Products Sarah Cummins has also been released from the company.

Sapp has also relayed a stated that WWE has issued to Fightful concerning today’s latest wave of company layoffs, which read:

“WWE issued Fightful a statement saying “With the continued evolution of NXT 2.0, we’ve decided to part ways with some of the staff based in our Performance Center. We thank them for their many contributions throughout the years and wish them the best.” “
