Van Hammer Passes Away at the Age of 66

Former WCW wrestler Mark Hildreth, known by fans around the world as Van Hammer, has passed away, Marc Mero shared the news today on social media earlier today.

Mark was trained by Boris Malenko and Dan Spivey. During his tenure in WCW he was apart of “Raven’s Flock”, he was known as “Heavy Metal” Van Hammer to many in the wrestling world. His first match for the promotion was against Terrance Taylor at Clash of Champions XVI. Hammer went 42-0 in his career with WCW until Clash of Champions XVII when he was defeated by Cactus Jack.
