This morning during an interview on Busted Open Radio, AEW president Tony Khan announced that AEW will sign a female performer on tonight’s episode of Rampage. Many are speculating on who will be revealed as many are assuming it will be a former WWE star who was involved in last year’s mass cuts.
Athena, formerly WWE’s Ember Moon, seems to be the most common name coming up. The former NXT Women’s Champion was released from her WWE deal in November and has been working the independents in 2022.
