NXT Takeover is live tonight at the Allstate Arena in Chicago, Illinois. I will be there in attendance and am sure it will be a great night. Here is the match card and my predictions, also I will try to guess the match order for tonight.
Ricochet vs Velveteen Dream: I think this match will open up tonight and start it off with a bang. I wouldn’t be surprised if this gets 5 stars. Both of these guys are amazing in the ring and we have seen everything they can do, together they will be amazing. I think Ricochet wins his first major one on one match in NXT. Prediction: Ricochet wins
Shayna Baszler vs Nikki Cross (NXT Women’s Championship): I am sad Cross didn’t go up with Sanity to the main roster (WHO STILL HAVEN’T DEBUTED). I think this is a good spotlight for her, but I do not think she wins. Shayna will keep the title for a little longer because she is a good anchor for that women’s division in NXT. Prediction: Baszler wins
Undisputed Era vs Oney Lorcan and Danny Burch (NXT Tag Team Championship): I don’t think UE is dropping any titles any time soon, so I believe they hold on here. UE is a great stable in NXT and will do amazing things on the main roster when they move up in the future. Prediction: UE wins
Aleister Black vs Lars Sullivan (NXT Championship): This match is going to be very physical and hard hitting. The power of Lars and the striking of Black is going to mix into a painful match for them and a WONDERFUL match for the viewer. I do think Black holds on to keep the top spot in NXT. Prediction: Blacks makes Lars fade to black
Johnny Gargano vs Tommaso Ciampa (Chicago Street Fight): This match is going to be grea, just like their first one. These 2 will never get boring and should fight forever. What makes them so good is that they were a former tag team and understand each other so good. I do think Ciampa wins, tying up the scoreboard with these 2. That will make the final match at NXT Takeover Brooklyn. Prediction: Ciampa wins
