The Briscoes have been on a hell of a tear as of late, they have been putting in matches that have been excellent to watch as fans, namely an absolutely spectacular match with FTR at Supercard of Honor. The Briscoes have also been featuring on Impact recently, as well as GCW and PWG shows and many fans hope to see The Briscoes signed to AEW contracts in the near future. However, there appears now to have been a small bump on the momentum the team have been riding.
Jay Briscoe tweeted out a note on Saturday in which he explained that Mark Briscoe’s wife was rushed to hospital and due to this, The Briscoes would have to pull out of GCW and PWG events this weekend. Hopefully all is ok with Briscoe’s wife and baby and Mark Briscoe should not apologise to anyone for missing events due to this medical emergency.
