Nondisclosure Agreements are a big part of sports, entertainment and law in general.
Ronda Rousey is a prominent WWE figure who in the past has utilized Nondisclosure agreements. Current UFC Bantamweight Champion Julianna Pena has spoke in the past about women’s fighters having to sign NDA’s prior to sparring with Rousey. One would think that in the WWE, there would be plenty of NDA’s regarding contract and backstage issues.
According to Mike Johnson in a recent PW Insider Q&A, WWE only advises wrestlers to stay quiet:
“I know the top execs have NDAs but I don’t believe talents do officially. They are all advised not to speak out against the company when they are released, but once they are free, they can do whatever they want.”

Superstars not being required to sign NDA’s would explain the excess of former WWE stars who have spoke out about their situations within the company.
