Cody Rhodes has no ill will towards AEW.
We have seen since Cody Rhodes made the jump to WWE that there have been several mentions from AEW roster members wishing him well. Cody has also addressed his departure in several interviews, repeatedly sharing his gratefulness to Tony Khan and co.
A fan took to Twitter and expressed his disappointment that Kenny Omega and Cody Rhodes will not be competing at AEW Double Or Nothing. Cody replied to the fan, making it clear that he is sure the pay-per-view will be fine without him.
“I’ve got my crosshairs on being inside Hell in a Cell, but I’m sure it’ll be just fine without me. I left a lot of love(and blood ha) imbued in that canvas. Very proud of that chapter.”
