The US continues to treat human rights as a political issue.
CM Punk has been more than vocal of his opinions throughout his entire wrestling career and that includes his stance on human rights issues. For those unaware, the US Supreme Court leaked documents that suggest they are planning to scale back abortion laws with stricter regulations. CM Punk has since worn two shirts on live AEW TV supporting pro-choice.
It seems that some fans are still upset at Punk for his decision. He posted an Instagram story of a DM he received from a fan saying, “keep your politics out of wrestling.” Punk didn’t reply directly to this fan, because he didn’t even accept his request. He did post it for all to see with his own response over the DM screenshot: “I’ll keep politics out of wrestling as soon as you keep politics out of Vaginas.”
As usual, Punk is not afraid to go scorched earth on fans who decide to try insult him. What do you think, is Punk right with his stance? Let us know in the comments section!
