Bobby Lashley Wants To Be The One To Defeat Roman Reigns
It looks like another former world champion has thrown their name in the hat to defeat the tribal chief.
We have seen many rivals step up to Roman Reigns in the last 18 months since he originally won the Universal championship. Since his reign crossed the 365 day mark we have seen much speculation on who could be the one to take the title from Reigns and hand him his first loss by pinfall or submission since December 2019.
Names that have been suggested range from Drew McIntyre to Cody Rhodes, but now Bobby Lashley has thrown his name into the hat. While speaking on WWE’s The Bump, Lashley stated that he wants to get on Roman Reigns’ level and beat him for the WWE Championship.
“We need a title on RAW. We need that World Title at RAW…Right now, Roman’s on top of this world. I would definitely to get on that level. He can look at bringing that title back over to RAW and giving me an opportunity to challenge for that. Now I think that is another really solid matchup.”

Time will tell if we will see Reigns and Lashley clash for one of Reigns’ two world championships. Lashley is currently working a program with Omos and will face MVP and the Nigerian giant at Hell In A Cell in a handicap match.
