CM Punk Calls His AEW Run Everything His WWE Run Should Have Been
The Second City Saint has his say regarding his dramatic WWE run.
It is well documented that CM Punk had a rough exit from the WWE. He wrestled his final event for the promotion at Royal Rumble 2014, walking out of the company that night. Since returning to the ring with AEW, Punk has been more than outspoken of the difference between working with WWE and working with AEW.
While speaking with ESPN, CM Punk talked about his time in WWE. The Second City Saint explained why he felt his run in WWE was kind of wasted.
“I feel like (WWE run) was kind of wasted. It could have been so much more. It should have been so much more. And now, this is everything I dreamed pro wrestling could and should be.”
