MJF may be getting a break.
Over the weekend, controversy was abound regarding the status of MJF for the Double Or Nothing PPV that would occur on Sunday. He would skip a meet and greet which lead to a lot of speculation and reports. However despite all this, MJF showed up and performed to his highest level regardless of the drama. In the end, MJF would eat 12 powerbombs before Wardlow would get the win. MJF was stretchered out after the match, seemingly writing him off TV.
According to PWInsider, MJF will not be on the road for at least the next couple of television tapings. This means he will be absent from AEW television for the next few weeks at least.
The expectation is that he will not be on the road at least for the next several TV tapings, possibly longer.
