It looks like NXT may be going back to the old way of doing things. For those unaware, NXT used to be taped prior to airing. This lead to many spoilers being revealed before the taping had aired, and as such NXT changed to a live weekly format.
According to PW Insider, it was announced during this week’s NXT that next week the company will be holding double tapings on Tuesday and Wednesday nights from the Performance Center in Orlando, Florida.
At last night’s WWE NXT TV taping, it was announced they would be taping both Tuesday and Wednesday this coming week at the WWE Performance Center. The Tuesday 6/21 episode on the USA Network will be pre-taped. We are told they will be back to live weekly on Tuesdays following that one week.

It is not exactly known why the company is taping this one episode of the show, but it is what it is. WWE NXT’s In Your House special will take place this Saturday.
