It’s been a long weekend and Tony Khan has finally addressed it.
The MJF controversy has been a roller-coaster ride of emotions, with many fans questioning if it is a work or reality after the events of the weekend. On Saturday, MJF skipped a meet and greet at AEW Fan Fest and reports suggested he may be skipping Double Or Nothing. However, MJF did show up at the PPV, losing to Wardlow in convincing fashion. He is now set to speak on tonight’s AEW Dynamite.
Tony Khan refused to comment on the situation during the post show media scrum but while speaking to The Corner, Tony Khan addressed the controversy and MJF’s status with the company:
“He’s been a huge part of the success of the company and he’s signed here for a long time. It’s 2022, and 2024 is a long way away.”
