Bellator’s Valerie Loureda Expected To Sign With WWE
MMA fighters transitioning over to pro wrestling has become something of a common theme regarding the two sports. While both sports fans may disagree, the sports are intertwined as the pageantry of pro wrestling is felt within MMA, particularly late 2000s MMA.
Now, it looks like another fighter will be making this transition as Bellator’s Valerie Loureda is set to sign with the WWE and report to the WWE PC for training, per Fightful Select.
Bellator MMA star Valerie Loureda is expected to be signed by WWE, if she hasn’t already. We were told by WWE sources that Loureda made a great impression recently, and seemed like a “slam dunk” to end up in the company. The last we’d heard, the signing wasn’t official as of yet, but they hoped to have her signed and able to report to the WWE Performance Center by mid-July.

Loureda is 4-1 in her MMA career and has been accused of caring more about her Instagram followers than her fight career, similarly to how Paige VanZant was portrayed following the end of her UFC career. Loureda is no stranger to wrestling as she has trained at the WWE PC in the past.
