Jorge Masvidal on Nate Diaz: I Wouldn’t Mind Breaking His Jaw and Sending Him Off
UFC Welterweight Jorge Masvidal was a guest on Ariel Helwani’s MMA Hour and had this to say about Nate Diaz.
In the tweet above, Masvidal who fought and defeated Diaz at UFC 244 for the BMF Championship stated he was on the UFC’s side, he felt the former TUF winner was being a diva and that he wouldn’t mind breaking Diaz jaw before sending him off to wherever the Stockton star will head to next.
Diaz, who last fought in a unanimous decision loss to Leon Edwards at UFC 263 has been vocal on Twitter about wanting to finish his contract with the promotion but both sides haven’t been able to come to an agreement for it to happen.
The last time Masvidal stepped in the octagon was in a decision loss to Colby Covington at UFC 272, it also resulted in Covington being sucker punched by Masvidal after going out to eat in Miami. Both men will be heading to court for their trial date on August 29th.
The UFC doesn’t look like they have plans for a Masvidal-Diaz rematch, it isn’t clear yet who Diaz would fight for his final contracted bout, we will keep you updated as we learn more.
