Jeff Hardy Was Nearly Knocked Out Early On In Double Or Nothing Match

Jeff Hardy had issues at Double Or Nothing that many fans noticed, with Dave Meltzer labelling Hardy a mess following the match. Now it appears there was a major mistake at the PPV as Matt Hardy has now shared.

While speaking on his podcast, Matt Hardy revealed that Jeff Hardy was nearly knocked out during their match against The Young Bucks.

“Very early on in the match Jeff was almost knocked out. So he got hurt pretty bad. That’s why he’s being pulled from the match in Los Angeles, obviously.”

“So he was kind of running on fumes going through the match. He still held up his end of the bargain pretty good in the big scheme of things,”

Matt would continue, stating that Jeff had to be instructed spot by spot what he had to do in the match. Early on we seen that Jeff’s boot had become undone also. It is likely that Jeff suffered some kind of concussion at Sunday’s PPV and it is a testament to Jeff that he still hit two beautiful Swanton Bombs while concussed and shaken up.

It is thought that the spot that lead to the injury was a corner counter to poetry in motion where Jeff landed on his head.
