Jeff Hardy Reveals The First Pitch That Was Rejected In AEW
Jeff Hardy has revealed the first idea that was rejected by AEW.
Jeff Hardy signed for AEW a couple of months back following his WWE release and since has put his body on the line in some huge spots. Jeff’s reckless abandonment for his own well being is the reason why Hardy is so over and beloved with the fans.
On a recent episode of Talk Is Jericho, Jeff Hardy revealed that his first creative pitch in AEW failed. Jeff wanted to have different music for his singles matches. Hardy wanted to use one of his musical creations but was shot down.
“I feel limitless, you know? God, there are so many ideas. I pitched my first idea but it didn’t go through. For my singles matches, I thought it’d be cool for us to have different music, and that Hardy Boyz music just be the Hardy Boyz music. I was going to use one of my new songs …”
“But it would be like a ‘WTF’ moment because, ‘What are we listening to? We’ve never heard this before.’ I think it would grow on people. But that’s the first thing I’ve really said. But yeah, the freedom feels amazing. My ideas are overflowing, so I just need to keep writing and keep pitching.”

Of course, Jeff Hardy is also a well renowned musician and it is not surprising to see he would like to write and perform his own AEW Theme, similarly to how Hangman Page’s theme came about. Do you think Jeff should have recorded a new theme for his AEW singles matches? Let us know in the comment section and on our social media pages.
