UFC President Dana White Addresses WWE Moving MITB Venues Due To UFC Card
The promoter of one of the biggest combat sports companies on the planet has had his say on WWE Money In The Bank.
Dana White has a humble respect for the WWE and Vince McMahon. He has on repeated occasions praised Vince as a promoter and the two even worked together to bring Brock Lesnar back to the UFC at UFC 200. White has also said Vince is one of the few people in the world he wouldn’t pick a fight with.
When Money In The Bank’s tickets first went on sale for Allegiant Stadium, reporters were expecting slow sales, but no one could have forseen how little tickets they actually sold for the stadium show. Instead, WWE decided to change locations, remaining in Las Vegas and hosting the event in the MGM Grand.
Appearing on The Spinnin Backfist MMA Show, Dana White commented on WWE making the move.
“To be fair to the WWE, they were probably looking at it and their ticket prices were a lot cheaper and there would be a lot of people in town. International Fight Week is a rough week to do it,”
