Paige’s WWE contract is expiring and she will leave the promotion on July 7th.
Paige has been signed to the WWE for almost a decade now. Paige debuted in NXT as the Anti-Diva. She quickly became NXT Women’s Champion and helped bring the Women’s Revolution when she battled Emma at NXT Arrival. Upon being called up to the main roster post WrestleMania 30 and from there has been a multi time women’s champion in the promotion. She unfortunately suffered a career ending injury a few years ago and now will look to other options outside the WWE.
Paige broke the news on her Twitter, posting a note for fans to read as she says goodbye to the WWE next month.
Time will tell where Paige will go next and if she will seek out a company that will allow her to wrestle with her extensive injuries or if she will pursue a career in another industry.
