Charles Oliveira Looking For A Fight With Conor McGregor
Former UFC Lightweight Champion, Charles Oliveira, who lost the championship due to missing weight, has been on a unstoppable path with his championship reign. Charles has defeated the likes of Dustin Poirier, Michael Chandler & most recently, Justin Gaethje. But now, Charles has his sights set on a potential new matchup. He sat down with ESPN Brazil and spoke about his willingness to fight UFC Mega-Star, Conor McGregor.
It would be a very good fight for me, It would put a lot of money in my pocket, and [at this moment] that’s the most important thing. And it would also be really good for my legacy, for me to have in my story. Regardless, if he’s coming from defeat or not, he’s a guy who’s made history, so I think it would be great, but it’s not just up to me. If it were up to me, this fight would already be happening.

Charles Oliveira understands that not only would a fight against Connor McGregor boost his legacy that much more, but would also significantly boost up his bank account.
I have a daughter to raise, Everyone wants to fight Conor, it’s not just me who wants to. Everyone knows that fighting Conor is very profitable. I’m talking about money. And Conor knows that, that everyone wants to fight him.

As of now, there’s no telling when Conor McGregor could return to the octagon. After sustaining a broken leg that put him on the shelf a little bit under a year ago, the former champion is back to training now, with recent footage showing him throwing kicks again.
