It looks like Jake sees more in Lance Archer than AEW management does.
Lance Archer has had a strange run in AEW. While he was a dependable monster heel in the early days of the promotion, he now finds himself at the bottom of the mid card, being fed to Wardlow a short few weeks ago. A big drop from the former AEW World Title challenger. Jake Roberts has managed Archer through his AEW run.
While speaking on “DDP Snake Pit,” Jake Roberts expressed his frustration over Lance Archer’s status in AEW.
“It is so frustrating for me to see Lance in the spot that he is in. He’s such a phenomenal athlete, he’s in such great shape, he’s got an unbelievable look. The only thing Lance doesn’t do really well is talk and that’s why they brought me.”

Of course, this may not be a permanent role for Archer who may end up back in the main event at some point in his career but for now himself and Jake will have to make due with where they are on the crowd.
