It looks like The Wizard almost stepped into the ring with one of the most terrifying athletes of all time.
Well, in AEW. Chris Jericho and Mike Tyson are no strangers to one another as they have interacted repeatedly in WWE and both have spoke about their relationship previously.
Alex McCarthy of TalkSport tweeted a quote from Chris Jericho regarding a possible match with Mike Tyson in AEW.
“He did [want to have a match in AEW]. We worked on it for a while. The initial idea was for a Jericho vs Tyson match. But he was about to box Roy Jones Jr. We were thinking maybe a street fight or a cinematic match – anything we could do.”

While Tyson still appeared in AEW several times, he would not compete in a match like Jericho and AEW had hoped due to prior commitments. Time will tell if we will ever see Tyson compete in a match with AEW and if he does, will it be with Chris Jericho.
