Well, we all know this was coming.
There are several names in the pro wrestling industry who have an inherent bias to one company or another. A name that we have consistently seen crapping on AEW and praising WWE is WWE Hall of Famer Booker T. Booker ended up in hot water earlier this week when he claimed AEW hold responsibility for Jeff Hardy’s substance abuse problems.
Now, Booker has refused to comment on the Vince McMahon controversy. Booker T took a measured approach while addressing the situation on The Hall of Fame Podcast.
“It’s a serious situation as far as the allegations,” Booker told his co-host Brad Gilmore. “I wouldn’t want to jump ahead of myself and say something that I have no idea what’s really going on.”
The former WCW World Heavyweight Champion said he intends to “sit back and wait a minute,” gather information, and once he has enough information then “we’ll dive into that and see exactly how it looks.”

As mentioned previously, Booker was more than happy to jump to conclusions in order to slander AEW but remains calm regarding the WWE chairman’s extra marital affairs. Time will tell how this whole situation will play out.
