Chris Jericho Names Will Ospreay And Minoru Suzuki As NJPW Stars He Wants To Work With
One man who has done an excellent job of kicking down the Forbidden Door is Chris Jericho.
While fans may not want to hear it, Jericho is one of the most influential pro wrestlers in the discussion surrounding the Forbidden Door concept. Working with New Japan Pro Wrestling while still in a working relationship with Vince McMahon in the WWE, Jericho would square off with Kenny Omega in one of the biggest matches in NJPW during the 2010’s.
Jericho said in an interview with TSN that two talents he would have loved to wrestle in NJPW would have been Minoru Suzuki and Will Ospreay.
“I would have loved to have worked with [Minoru] Suzuki, I would have loved to have worked with [Will] Ospreay,” “There are still some guys I want to work with, but I’d also like to do those in Tokyo. I think Jericho versus Suzuki has a way different feel to it in Tokyo than Jericho versus Suzuki does in the States because Suzuki has worked a lot in the States and worked a lot of lower-level guys. In Japan, that’s not the case.”

Jericho will feature on the Forbidden Door card later this month in a six man tag match at the event. Time will tell if Jericho will get his opportunity to to work with Suzuki or Ospreay in the future.
