Famed WWE Referee passed away at the age of 73 from a undisclosed illness. Dave Hebner died around noon on June 17, 2022, at at his home in Mechanicsville, Virginia.
It was revealed in the past that Hebner had Parkinson’s disease, but unknown if his death was related. The passing was confirmed by nephew Brian Hebner on his podcast account as seen below:
Dave and twin brother Earl Hebner were born on May 17, 1949. Dave began referee’ing locally in the 1970’s but was hired by WWE in the early 1980’s. Dave was seen for many iconic WWE moments including the famed Randy Savage vs Rickey Steamboat.
