AEW Star Believes Wardlow Can Make AEW More Mainstream
It looks like Wardlow is believed to be a crossover star for the company already.
Wardlow has had a meteoric rise to his position in AEW as one of the most over babyfaces on their roster. At Double Or Nothing last month, he defeated MJF in one of AEW’s longest storylines in pro wrestling in recent years. Wardlow now has his eyes set on becoming TNT Champion.
While speaking to “Drinks With Johnny,” Matt Hardy talked about pro wrestling not being as mainstream as it used to be. Hardy stated that he believes Wardlow could make AEW more mainstream.
“I feel like Wardlow’s is a guy that might have that possibility here in AEW. I think he’s very special, he’s a good-looking dude, chicks love him, he’s super athletic and talented. You have a guy like that and hopefully, that does elevate the view of a company and kind of their status where they can grow and become more mainstream or whatever.”

With Wardlow being involved more and more with other stars and most recently having Matt Hughes and Tyron Woodley help him out, he is certain to get more main stream attention in the coming months.
