WWE Plans A Nine Month Recovery Time For Cody Rhodes, Cody Has Other Plans
Cody Rhodes was recently injured after tearing his pectoral muscle, then working through the Hell In A Cell match against Seth Rollins. He then went on to have successful surgery to repair his pec.
WWE has previously said that the timetable for Cody Rhodes’ return is 9 months. But, it seems Cody does not agree. Cody Rhodes took to his Instagram to address the timetable. He wrote on his story:
I’ve heard 9 months, that’s their plan… I’ve never concerned myself with other people’s projections — I’ve got a plan of my own — let’s finish, all of us.

It seems Cody is headed for a earlier return than nine months. He didn’t specify exactly when he targets to return, but with a injury of his magnitude it’s safe to assume he will be out for a significant amount of time.
