It looks like we know the next date we will have our next NXT 2.0 live event.
Since rebranding to NXT 2.0, there have been several shows that have occurred under the rebranded version of NXT. There have been 3 premium live events since the last Takeover event in August of last year.
Dave Meltzer reported in the latest edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter that NXT’s next Peacock/WWE Network special is expected for late August. Meltzer mentioned that Saturday, August 20 and Saturday, August 27 are being looked at as possible dates for the show.
“They are tentatively planning a major NXT show for late August, with 8/20 and 8/27 being looked at as possible dates for the next ‘Don’t call it Takeover’ show,”

The last Saturday Premium Live Event for NXT 2.0 was In Your House in June. Time will tell what August’s live event will be branded as, but for now we know it will occur in the last two weeks of August.
