It looks like the WWE are changing their recruitment methods again.
In the latest Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Dave Meltzer said that WWE has contacted a number of independent wrestlers to see if are interested in doing a tryout.
While the idea is still to recruit good looking college or other athletes and train them to be wrestlers, they have contacted some indie talent for tryouts in Nashville over SummerSlam week.

Time will tell if any notable names from the independent scene will show up to the try-outs, but for now it is interesting to see WWE change their hiring methods.
