AEW Star Injured, Former WWE Star Debuts At All Out

Andrew Iverson ·

AEW’s women’s division received two significant updates at All Out, with Harley Cameron confirming an injury and Dani Luna making her debut for the promotion.

Cameron appeared alongside Kris Statlander during the pre-show coverage for a backstage segment. The two revealed that Cameron is currently unable to compete because of a knee injury sustained at All In London on August 30.

According to Cameron and Statlander, the injury occurred when Cameron performed a dive from the top rope onto Skye Blue during their tag team match against the Sisters of Sin. Cameron finished the match, which she and Statlander went on to win against Blue and Julia Hart.

AEW has not announced the severity of the injury or provided a timetable for Cameron’s return. The All In match remains her most recent in-ring appearance.

Later in the evening, Luna answered Persephone’s open challenge for the TBS Championship and made her AEW debut in the third match of the All Out main card.

Luna pushed the champion in a competitive match, but interference from Britt Baker again worked in Persephone’s favor. The champion capitalized by delivering a crucifix powerbomb from the top rope and pinning Luna to retain the title.

Fightful Select reported before the event that Luna had joined AEW and was expected to debut shortly. The company has not separately announced the terms of any agreement.

The 27-year-old Luna arrives with nearly a decade of experience. She previously competed for WWE’s NXT UK brand and spent approximately three years with TNA, where she became a two-time Knockouts World Tag Team champion alongside Jody Threat. She also held the RevPro Undisputed British Women’s Championship and remained active on the independent circuit after leaving TNA earlier this year.

Luna’s debut adds another experienced wrestler to AEW’s women’s roster, while Cameron’s injury leaves the timetable for a potential Wrathlander reunion uncertain.
