Independent Wrestling Promoter Accused Of Harassment

Independent wrestling promoter Patrick Hutchinson, also known as “YaYa” from Gremlin House Wrestling, has been accused of alleged harassment, intimidation, manipulation, and repeated unwanted contact by an individual identified as Melissa.

In a statement shared through Instagram Stories, Melissa claimed she initially invested in Gremlin House Wrestling to support independent wrestling and her daughter’s growing interest in the business. However, she alleged the relationship with Hutchinson deteriorated after she rejected repeated sexual advances.

According to the statement, Melissa alleged Hutchinson threatened to blacklist her minor daughter from wrestling after she informed him in January that she would no longer invest in the company. She also claimed her ex-husband and people close to her experienced harassment.

Melissa further alleged the behavior continued after she blocked communication. She claimed the contact allegedly included fake Instagram accounts, repeated calls and texts, and attempts to gain access to her. In addition, she stated her daughter allegedly received a disturbing phone call last week.

The statement also noted Melissa has filed a police report and plans to pursue legal action.

Additionally, Melissa shared screenshots of alleged Instagram direct messages attributed to Hutchinson. The screenshots appeared to show repeated personal and sexual messages, as well as multiple attempts to contact her.

    Social Media Reaction

Following the allegations made against Patrick Hutchinson, several individuals within the independent wrestling community publicly distanced themselves from Gremlin House Wrestling and the promoter.

Multiple wrestlers, fans, and associates shared statements on social media stating they would no longer work with or support the promotion following the allegations.

    Gremlin House Wrestling Responds

Following the allegations shared on social media, Gremlin House Wrestling issued a public statement denying the accusations.

In the statement, the promotion described the claims as “false allegations” and alleged the situation stemmed from internal disputes involving championship decisions and financial disagreements.

The company also claimed the accusations began after a former associate was removed from the promotion in January 2026 for allegedly violating company policy. Additionally, Gremlin House Wrestling stated they have preserved messages, screenshots, calls, and other documentation, while noting the matter is being handled legally.

Gremlin House Wrestling further stated they intend to continue operations and upcoming events despite the backlash online.

BodySlam.net has not independently verified the allegations made by either side.

AEW Talent Reportedly Pushing For New Day Arrival

The future of New Day may become one of the biggest stories in professional wrestling once the duo officially hits free agency.

According to a new report from Fightful Select via WrestleVotes Radio, there is reportedly a significant push within All Elite Wrestling from talent who want to see Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods brought into the company once they become available.

The report also mentioned that the team would likely need to compete under a different name if they leave WWE, as “New Day” remains intellectual property tied to the company.

As for individual ring names, Kofi Kingston is reportedly expected to keep using “Kofi,” while Xavier Woods would likely return to using the name “Austin Creed.”

Visa Issues Delaying AAA’s US Expansion

Despite multiple AAA stars appearing on WWE programming in recent months, the promotion still has not officially announced any events in the United States.

According to a new report from Figure Four Online, ongoing visa complications are currently preventing those plans from moving forward.

During the latest edition of Wrestling Observer Live, Bryan Alvarez noted that visa-related issues are also affecting AAA’s ability to confirm details for its upcoming September 11 event.

Last weekend, WWE confirmed that Triplemania 2026 will take place across two nights. The first show scheduled for September 11 and the second taking place September 13 in Mexico City. However, the location for the September 11 event has yet to be revealed publicly.

The report also addressed recent speculation surrounding Angel and Berto following their loss against Oba Femi on WWE Raw. Concerns about the duo’s future began circulating after Angel shared a message on X. Leading some fans to believe their WWE run could be ending.

However, Alvarez stated that the current belief is that both talents are expected to remain within WWE.  The report added that with AAA potentially pursuing a television deal in the United States hispanic talent connected to both companies could become increasingly valuable moving forward.

Earlier this year, AAA launched a new weekly television program through FOX Sports Mexico. AAA’s next major event, Noche de Los Grandes, is scheduled to take place on May 30.
