Joe Hennig, better known to fans as Curtis Axel, has settled his DWI case from this past May.
According to the court records (located here) the plea agreement that was submitted on August 24 sees Hennig plead guilty to misdemeanor charges of DWI as well as disorderly conduct. The previous charges of refusing to submit to chemical testing and interfering with a police officer were dismissed.
He was originally arrested in May 2026 for the incident which took place at a McDonald’s restaurant in Anoka County, Minnesota.
Hennig has already completed a required comprehensive assessment and attended a Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD) Impact Panel. He is to pay a $50 find within 90 days.
He was given a 90 day sentence, 87 of the days still owed and three credited with time served. Joe will be under supervised probation for the next 12 months. There is a chance, through good behavior, that it could become unsupervised after 5 months. It is noted that he must remain a law abiding citizen exhibiting good behavior with zero alcohol or drug-related offenses as well as no violent/disorderly/threatening behavior.
Following through with these stipulations will result in no additional jail time.
