    Nikki Bella: Chelsea Green Let Me Borrow Her Walking Boot At WrestleMania 42

    Nikki Bella got a little extra help when it came to making sure she could walk down the ramp at WrestleMania 42.

    This past weekend, the WWE held their 42nd annual WrestleMania where the Bella Twins technically walked out of the grandest stage of them all with the WWE Women’s World Tag Team Championships with the addition of the returning Page (Saraya) to their team.

    While talking about the buildup to the show on their recent episode of the Nikki & Brie Show, Nikki revealed that she reached out to the former WWE Women’s United States Champion, Chelsea Green and asked if she could borrow the walking boot she had been using to assist with her ankle injury she suffered a couple of months ago.

    This is what Nikki had to say.

    “I texted Chelsea Green, ‘Girl, can I borrow your boot?’ She said yes. She told me ‘zhuzh is up a little bit more.’ They painted it red and I was like, ‘Oh my God, Chelsea, so your boot is red now.’ We ran into her and Matt after and she was like, ‘I didn’t think I was going to make WrestleMania and I told Matt, technically, I was on WrestleMania because my boot was on it.’ I tried it on before, she’s a 7 and a half. When I put my foot in, I’m a size nine. It didn’t feel good. My stitches were still in because I got them out after the match and it was pushing really hard on the stitches,” she said.

    The hope for the WWE is that Nikki can be back in the wrestling ring in the next two months.

    Paige and Brie became the new WWE Women’s World Tag Team Champions after Paige pinned Alexa Bliss at WrestleMania 42 to win her first match back and claim gold with the Bellas.

    Night 1 of Wrestlemania is in the books and.. is it me or did it seem short? Just me? I don’t know. Maybe you have a different opinion than me. Welcome to the Wrestlemania Rundown: The Cody Edition. Where I give my thoughts and opinions and you either agree or disagree. Let’s get into it!

    As I stated above this show felt very short and very rushed. Little wrestling and more commercials than anything. The matches were okay and very up and down. So let’s break it down.

    The show started with a pop, the host of Wrestlemania John Cena. Now when this was announced I was intrigued and excited. I’ve always been a big fan of John Cena. But it felt. Odd. I hope he is able to do more on night 2 because I mean come on.. it’s Cena.

    Then, it’s the first match of the night. The 6 man tag team match between The Uso’s and LA Knight (yeah) VS Logan Paul, Austin Theory, and…. Speed. Now I will say. I was somewhat pleased with Speed’s performance. I’m interested to see what he does further. Especially with a possible program with Logan Paul after Paul attacked Speed. Overall I was very happy with LA Knight getting the win for his team. Rating: 7/10

    Then we had Jacob Fatu VS Drew McIntyre. This match was chaos. I was happy with it but not much to say. Rating: 8/10

    Next we had the Women’s Tag Team Championship Fatal 4 Way with the return of Paige. I’ll be honest. I just didn’t feel it. It was okay. My favorite part was Paige returning. However them winning the titles? I disagree with. I believe it should’ve been Bayley and Lyra. Rating: 4/10

    Next we had Becky VS AJ for the Women’s Intercontinental Championship. Part of me wanted so much more from this match. It was cool. Sure, but their Elimination Chamber match was way better than what this was. However, I believe the result was the right call. Rating: 6/10

    Up next we had my personal match of the night. Rollins VS Gunther. This match was everything I expected it to be. Even with hardly any story, it was match of the night material, possibly match of the weekend. The beginning portion was great and the ending was great as well. I wish it would’ve been a clean finish, but when you throw in Breakker it only makes sense. Gunther winning was the right call to save his character and value. I look forward to what’s next for the both of these guys. Rating: 9/10

    Vaquer VS Liv… I wanted so much more. The build was good, everything about this screamed potential main event. Ultimately, this match should’ve been in the middle. Liv’s entrance? Scared me. Corey Graves learning her dance? Even scarier. This match had so much potential but was such a let down. Liv winning was a great choice though. I just hope Vaquer doesn’t get lost in the shuffle now. Rating: 6/10

    Very happy for Bianca and Montez!

    The main event, I was looking forward to this match. Cody’s entrance in my opinion was entrance of the night. Everything about it was perfect. It told the story of who he is. Jelly Roll putting Pat through a table made me laugh out loud. But I had more questions than answers coming out of this match. Why did Randy RKO Pat? Did Cody tease a heel turn with the low blow? Is Orton actually hurt? If this was their plan.. then congrats! You’ve done it for me. Overall I thought this match was great until Pat came back out. This was up there with the Jacob and Drew fight for me. Rating: 8/10

    Overall, night 1 of Wrestlemania felt very very rushed and didn’t feel like Wrestlemania. I felt like I was watching a overhyped normal PPV. Maybe they did this to make night 2 look better? I sure hope that’s the case. If I was WWE I would look at the comments on social media and figure out how to fix night 2. Because they have less than 19 hours to fix it. Overall rating: 6/10

    On night 1 of WrestleMania 42, Lash Legend and Nia Jax defended their Women’s Tag Team Championships against Charlotte & Alexa Bliss, Lyra Valkyria & Bayley and The Bellas.

    But, after being injured two weeks ago, Nikki Bella revealed that she is injured and cannot compete. therefore Paige returned to WWE and took her place in the match.

    The match didn’t get a lot of time, but the women had nonstop action the entire time the match was going. Lash legend had a fun spot where she power bomb two competitors off the top rope.

    But, in the end, Nikki Bella attacked Charlotte and hit her with her crutch, causing a distraction to Alexa Bliss and allowing Paige to pick up the win for her team. Paige and Brie Bella are now the Women’s Tag Team Champions.

    At WrestleMania 42 Night 1, Lash Legend and Nia Jax defended their WWE Women’s Tag Team Titles against Charlotte and Alexa Bliss, Bayley and Lyra Valkyria, & The Bella’s. But, Nikki Bella, who hurt her foot two weeks ago, was unable to compete. She needed a new partner, and as a surprise, that partner was a returning Paige.

    Paige (Saraya) Reportedly Signs Multi-Year Deal With WWE

    The former WWE Divas Champion is reportedly back.

    First reported by PW Insider and confirmed to BodySlam, Paige (Saraya) has reportedly signed a multi-year contract to return to the WWE.

    This is her first contract with the company since her release on June, 2022 where she departed after a decade with the WWE.

    Under the name Saraya, she would make her arrival in All Elite Wrestling on September, 2022 where she would go on to win the AEW Women’s World Championship, she took a hiatus in November, 2024 and has been working on different projects during her break from professional wrestling.

    She would announce her departure from AEW in March, 2025 before reportedly signing a multi-year deal to return to the WWE on April 17, 2026.

    On Monday, April 6th, it was reported that Alberto Rodriguez (Del Rio, El Patrón) was arrested after due to domestic violence, the unfortunate events took place on Alberto’s home in his hometown of San Luis Potosi, Mexico. It was later reported that prosecutor’s office would open an entire investigation and look for further details and evidence before declaring the sentence on Rodriguez. The news broke up and it was reported that Alberto could’ve spend from eight to twenty years in prison. Today, the verdict has finally been announced on the former WWE and AAA Mega Champion.

    Alberto Del Rio Now Free

    According to initial reports, the case took a new turn after the victim granted moral forgiveness, which allowed the parties to reach a settlement. As a result, the athlete was able to resolve his legal situation once the relevant proceedings were concluded. Alberto Rodriguez declared himself guilty after his partner forgave him, Alberto was then instructed that he should pay a bail of $1,000,000 Mexican pesos (Approximately $58,000 USD) and will have a felony registered on his employment record for the rest of his life. As a result of this, several promotions have officially cut ties with Alberto Del Rio and as a result, several independent promotors cancelled several events that previously announced Alberto’s participation and others directly changed the event’s logistics. The Crash announced earlier this week they would suspend Alberto from participating on their events until further notice.

    Alberto Del Rio is no stranger to controversy related to his previous couples. Back in 2017, while working for TNA (Then IMPACT Wrestling), Alberto, wrestling as El Patron, was scheduled to wrestle Low-Ki at Destination X for the then Unified GFW Global Heavyweight Championship until he was suspended by the company on July 12th of that year after his then-partner, Paige (Saraya-Jade Bevis), accused Alberto of domestic violence, the company then proceeded to suspend Alberto from any activity with IMPACT Wrestling and stripping him from the championship. On May 9th, 2020, Alberto was arrested in San Antonio, Texas after allegedly battering and sexually assaulting his girlfriend. He was booked into the Bexar County jail and charged with one count of sexual assault and one count of assault causing bodily harm. Rodríguez was later released on $50,000 bail on 10 May. On 9 October, Alberto Del Rio (Rodríguez) was indicted by a grand jury and formally charged with aggravated kidnapping and sexual assault, two felonies. Rodriguez’s trial was delayed several times, until the charges were ultimately dropped on 10 December 2021.
