    AEW Dynamite: Darby Allin Set To Defend World Championship Next Week

    Darby Allin main evented tonight’s AEW Dynamite in successful fashion, but the train doesn’t stop now. It just keeps going.

    Tonight on AEW Dynamite, Darby Allin said ahead of his match that after winning the AEW World Championship last week, he would be willing to be a fighting champion every week until his body cannot go anymore. And it all started with tonight’s main event against Tommaso Ciampa.

    Darby and Ciampa had a killer match that was full of craziness, blood and the crowd on their feet the entire time. But, after what was a hard-fought defense, Darby Allin made Tommaso Ciampa tap out to the scorpion death lock.

    Following the match, Brody King made his presence known. He said that he spoke to Tony Khan, and if Darby is up for the challenge, he wants Darby for the World Title next week. Darby simply shook his hand in agreement.

    Earlier on in the night, Brody King had defeated Lio Rush and then said he’d be watching the main event to keep a close eye on it. Now, he gets his shot in one week on AEW Dynamite.

    AEW Dynamite Preview 4/22, World Championship Match Set

    AEW Dynamite is live tonight on TBS at 8PM ET. The show will be held at The Veterans Memorial Coliseum in Portland, Oregon and is headlined by an AEW World Championship Match.

    Last week, Darby Allin shocked the world and defeated MJF in very quick fashion to become the new AEW World Championship in his hometown of Seattle. Now, there’s no rest for the new champion as he will defend his gold against Tommaso Ciampa.

    Ciampa made it very clear last week that he was gunning for the AEW World Championship, and luckily for him, he doesn’t have to wait long. The two will clash tonight.

    Plus, we’re also set to hear from Darby Allin, as well. It’ll be interesting to see what he has to say coming off of the biggest win of his career.

    Elsewhere on the show, we will see Will Ospreay go head-to-head against former friend Mark Davis. This comes after Mark Davis laid out Will Ospreay last week with a devastating pile-driver just moments after he beat Mark’s Don Callis Family stablemate in Hechicero. Now, Ospreay can try for some payback.

    Lastly, in the AEW women’s division, something is cooking up with Hikaru Shida. But, what is it? Mina Shirakawa accused Shida of being the person who attacked Toni Storm and warns Kris Statlander to not trust Hikaru. We don’t know if that’s true or not, but, Shida didn’t take too kindly to the accusations and the two will battle tonight.

    AEW Dynamite Spring Break Thru was live from the Angel Of The Winds Arena in Everett, Washington and on HBO Max and TNT.

    The show was headlined by a AEW World Championship Match between MJF and Darby Allin. Plus, Will Ospreay was in action against Hechicero and more. You can see the full results below.

    AEW Dynamite: Tommaso Ciampa Defeats Dezmond Xavier

    Tommaso Ciampa came up short at AEW Dynasty in the TNT Championship Casino Gauntlet Match. He’s not happy about that loss and is looking to take out some frustrations!

    But, a man who didn’t even get a chance to get a shot in the Casino Gauntlet, one third of The Rascalz, Dezmond Xavier. Surely, Dezmond is looking to prove that he can become a TNT Champion if he’s able to pick up a win over a former champion.

    Ciampa was visibly frustrated and even yelled at the crowd for calling him bald, telling them to save that for Ricochet. Then, Dezmond Xavier started getting in some big offense with a tornado DDT, a big topé and a 450 splash, but it wasn’t enough.

    In the end, Tommaso Ciampa drilled Xavier with a devastating knee and picked up the victory! After the match, Ciampa grabbed the microphone and said what happened tonight was an example. He’s sick of waiting and he wants all the gold. And if he’s not clear, Darby, MJF, he wants next.

    AEW Dynasty: Kevin Knight Becomes AEW TNT Champion

    The vacant AEW TNT Championship was on the line tonight in a Casino Gauntlet Match at AEW Dynasty. The championship became vacant in recent weeks when former champion Kyle Fletcher was injured, and forced to give up the belt. While we wish Kyle the best in his recovery, it’s officially time to crown a new king.

    In this match, competitors enter different intervals. The match can end at any time by pinfall or submission, regardless of how many men enter the ring. Last week, Tommaso Ciampa and RUSH won their respective matches to become number one and number two in the match.

    While RUSH and Ciampa started it out, Bandido was entrant number three, who came in about four minutes after the starting bell. Following Bandido was entrant number four, ‘Speedball’ Mike Bailey.

    The action was fast and furious, with all four guys quickly flying around the ring and trying to get the victory before another opponent entrant. But, in came number five, El Clon. This was followed by number six, the Death Riders own, PAC!

    PAC was on fire entering this match, giving the fight to everyone currently in the ring. But, he was unable to get the victory before the next entry, number seven, Daniel Garcia. Now, Garcia is another member of the Death Riders, giving them an advantage in this match with both Daniel and PAC.

    Anthony Bowens was entrant number eight, followed by at Kevin Knight at number nine. This gave Mike Bailey an advantage as Kevin and Bailey together are “JetSpeed”. Naturally, JetSpeed and the Death Riders went after each other as the two tag teams in this match.

    Bandido almost had a win with a very close pin on Ciampa, but it was broken up. Here comes entrant ten, another Death Rider member, Wheeler Yuta. Then, Clon and Bandido took everyone out.

    In the end, Daniel Garcia, Tommaso Ciampa and Daniel Garcia all looked to have the win in an arms reach, but it was Kevin Knight who pulled out the victory and is the NEW TNT Champion!
