    WrestleMania 42 wraps up Sunday, April 19, with a loaded Night 2 card that will shape WWE’s direction moving forward. The show is headlined by Roman Reigns challenging CM Punk for the World Heavyweight Championship. Several other title matches and key matchups round out the night.

    Brock Lesnar vs. Oba Femi

    This is one of the most intriguing matches on the card. Oba Femi has momentum, but WWE often takes a cautious approach with rising stars. Brock Lesnar winning keeps him strong for future programs, and I don’t think he loses until his retirement match. To clarify, these predictions are not what I would do, but how I see WWE working.

    Intercontinental Championship Ladder Match

    Penta defends against Rusev, Dragon Lee, Rey Mysterio, Je’Von Evans and JD McDonagh. The match lacks a strong story, but the field suggests a showcase. Rey Mysterio stands out as a potential surprise winner in a moment-driven match.

    United States Championship Match

    Sami Zayn defends against Trick Williams. A character shift appears likely, with Zayn leaning heel and Williams gaining momentum as a fan favorite. Williams feels positioned for a breakout moment.

    Finn Balor vs. Dominik Mysterio

    The long running Judgment Day story has cooled, but Balor bringing back his Demon persona signals a decisive outcome. Dominik Mysterio remains effective regardless of results.

    WWE Women’s Championship Match

    Jade Cargill defends against Rhea Ripley. With uncertainty around Bianca Belair’s status due to being pregnant, Cargill retaining keeps options open for a future title change tied to Belair’s return. But that seems like a long time from now. I think changes plans.

    Winner: Rhea Ripley

    World Heavyweight Championship Match

    CM Punk defends against Roman Reigns in the main event. Reigns regaining the title creates fresh storyline paths and potential rivalries. Punk’s direction may shift following a loss.

    WrestleMania Night 1 is in the books, and the rivalry between Liv Morgan and Stephanie Vaquer has officially reached its conclusion.

    Liv Morgan Versus Stephanie Vaquer

    In a match that lasted 6 minutes and 50 seconds, Liv Morgan defeated Stephanie Vaquer to become the new Women’s Champion. While the bout delivered in terms of in-ring quality, its limited duration left much to be desired, with the closing moments lacking the impact expected on a stage like WrestleMania. Given the talent involved, the match could have benefited from an additional 5 to 7 minutes to fully develop its pacing and emotional payoff.

    However, the issue extends beyond the match itself—it reflects the overall structure of the feud.

    Since their first major confrontation on the February 23 episode of WWE Raw, the rivalry accumulated just 23 minutes and 47 seconds of total television time prior to WrestleMania.     WrestleMania Night 1 ended with Cody Rhodes defending the WWE Undisputed Championship against Randy Orton. And of course, this got out of control before the match even began.

    Cody Rhodes was attacked during the match announcements when Pat McAfee hit him in the head with the microphone. Orton then pounced on the attack. But, Cody fought back. Cody then beat Pat McAfee up and took him to the outside. Jelly Roll then showed up from the crowd, and put Pat through the announcers table.

    After Pat was taken out on a stretcher, the bell rang and the match actually began. Randy Orton was busted open early on, and then things just kept getting crazier. Both men traded each others finishers, Orton then RKO’d the referee, and Pat McAfee made his way back down with a referee shirt on and a neck brace.

    When Randy couldn’t get the match done, he RKO’d Pat, but then walked right into a cross-Rhodes and Cody Rhodes picks up the win. After the match, Randy Orton hit Cody with the WWE Championship, and then punted him. Orton stood tall over Cody to end the show.

Bianca Belair took her jacket off and revealed that she’s pregnant! John Cena, who was also in the ring to announce the attendance, embraced her and gave her congratulations.

    The co-main event of WrestleMania 42 night 1 saw Stephanie Vaquer defend her WWE Women’s World Championship against Royal Rumble winner, Liv Morgan.

    The match got off to a fast start when the champ took the challenger down and started raining punches on her immediately. Stephanie was getting all of her stuff in early, including the Devil’s Kiss, which the crowd loved.

    Then, of course, The Judgement Day got involved and things started to go downhill for Vaquer. She did fell to fend them off, but it wasn’t enough.

    The match ended pretty quickly, but Liv Morgan hit the oblivion for the win and then celebrated after with Dominik Mysterio.

    WrestleMania: Gunther Defeats Seth Rollins, Bron Breakker Returns

    WrestleMania 42 night one saw a last-minute match between Seth Rollins and Gunther. While this match wasn’t literally last minute, it was only made two weeks ago when Gunther attacked Seth Rollins on RAW after Rollins was tormenting Paul Heyman.

    Last week, Gunther explained that he’s tired of Seth Rollins thinking he’s the best and knows Seth can’t even lace his boots. Now, we found out.

    Gunther wasted little time as he drop kicked Seth into the corner before the match even began. Gunther then started bringing the fight to Rollins on the outside and it turned into an all out brawl between both men. Seth was throwing chairs at Gunther and the referee had to break it up. They got back into the ring, and finally, the bell rang.

    These two beat the hell out of each other. From buckle-bombs, to chops and everything in between. But in the end, everything turned into chaos when Rollins hit a pedigree to Gunther on the announcers table. While the referee was checking on Gunther, Bron Breakker ran down and speared Seth!

    This allowed Gunther to lock in a a choke and make Seth Rollins pass out. After the match, Bron went up the ramp, only to run back down and spear Seth again.

    The intercontinental championship was on the line at WrestleMania 42, Night 1. AJ Lee defended her championship against Becky Lynch. This rivalry has become really heated in the last few weeks, especially when Becky’s daughter was named by AJ Lee, only firing her up more.

    Becky was in a different mindset during this one, as she used tactic she could to get an advantage. From pulling AJ Lee’s hair, to getting the referee involved, it was by any means necessary for Lynch.

    In the end, Becky bounced AJ Lee’s head off the exposed turnbuckle with the referee not seeing, and picked up the win to become the new women’s intercontinental champion.

    Wrestlemania: Paige And Brie Bella Win Tag Team Championships

    On night 1 of WrestleMania 42, Lash Legend and Nia Jax defended their Women’s Tag Team Championships against Charlotte & Alexa Bliss, Lyra Valkyria & Bayley and The Bellas.

    But, after being injured two weeks ago, Nikki Bella revealed that she is injured and cannot compete. therefore Paige returned to WWE and took her place in the match.

    The match didn’t get a lot of time, but the women had nonstop action the entire time the match was going. Lash legend had a fun spot where she power bomb two competitors off the top rope.

    But, in the end, Nikki Bella attacked Charlotte and hit her with her crutch, causing a distraction to Alexa Bliss and allowing Paige to pick up the win for her team. Paige and Brie Bella are now the Women’s Tag Team Champions.

    At WrestleMania 42 Night 1, Lash Legend and Nia Jax defended their WWE Women’s Tag Team Titles against Charlotte and Alexa Bliss, Bayley and Lyra Valkyria, & The Bella’s. But, Nikki Bella, who hurt her foot two weeks ago, was unable to compete. She needed a new partner, and as a surprise, that partner was a returning Paige.
