  • Liv Morgan On Stephanie Vaquer: She Should’ve Killed Me.

Liv Morgan On Stephanie Vaquer: She Should’ve Killed Me.

Liv Morgan is walking into WrestleMania 42 for a huge singles championship match against WWE Women’s World Champion, Stephanie Vaquer. While this isn’t Liv’s first WrestleMania, it is the first time she has an opportunity like this.

For Stephanie Vaquer, this is her first ever WrestleMania. Despite being champion, Stephanie has been on the fast track to success since moving up from NXT less than a year ago, and will compete for the first time at a show this big. Unluckily for her, she has to defend against a Liv Morgan who’s ready to die for the championship.

”Are you guys kidding me? Look at me. Look at me. I’m still like a 10 out of 10, but, you don’t get to come and mess with Liv Morgan and Mae me bruise. She should’ve killed me. And that was her biggest mistake, and I’m okay. And I’m going to come back so much harder than she expects. She’s actually going to get a little taste tonight. But, I feel good. I feel good honestly. I just feel ready for WrestleMania. I’m not nervous, I’m not scared, I don’t feel pressure. I am completely, fully present in my body, in my mind, in my soul. It is so, so, so, so much sweeter that it took me eleven years to get my very first title match, to headline WrestleMania. If I could re-write my career to this point in time, I would keep everything exactly as it is. I’m really proud of my journey and where we are at today.”

Liv Morgan is being documented and followed around all week for the WWE WrestleMania 42 Vlog series. This started on Monday Night Raw, and will carry up until WrestleMania Saturday. You can see the full vlog below.

  • WWE Superstar Bayley is Molding the Future of Women’s Wrestling

WWE Superstar Bayley is Molding the Future of Women’s Wrestling

The future of women’s wrestling is in good hands. For most veterans of professional wrestling, it is easy to coast, collect a paycheck, soak in the fame, and live off past accomplishments while watching the new generation make its way. Not with WWE superstar Bayley. Bayley’s impact on women’s wrestling is best understood not just through championships or moments, but through evolution. From her early days in NXT to her current role as a mentor shaping the next generation, her career mirrors the growth of women’s wrestling itself.

From NXT standout to cornerstone of a revolution

Bayley emerged in NXT as a unique presence. At a time when women’s wrestling in WWE was still fighting for consistent respect, her underdog persona and emotional storytelling connected deeply with audiences. Alongside Sasha Banks, Charlotte Flair and Becky Lynch she became part of the “Four Horsewomen,” a group widely credited with changing perceptions of what women’s wrestling could be.

Their matches in NXT were not treated as sideshows but as main events. Bayley herself acknowledged during that era that the group was revolutionizing women’s wrestling. Rivalries, particularly her series with Banks, helped establish a standard built on athleticism, storytelling, and emotional investment.

    Championship success and sustained excellence

Bayley’s transition to WWE’s main roster solidified her place among the most accomplished performers of her generation. A multiple-time women’s world champion, she became the first Grand Slam Champion in WWE women’s history and consistently delivered across different roles, from fan-favorite babyface “Hugger” to the calculating “Role Model.”

Her success, however, has often been less about spotlight dominance and more about reliability. Bayley has been central to elevating others, contributing to a deeper and more competitive division. That consistency has made her a respected locker room leader, someone trusted to guide newer talent while maintaining high in-ring standards.

    Leadership beyond the spotlight

In recent years, Bayley’s influence has expanded beyond television. Her Lodestone Women’s Wrestling seminar represents perhaps her most direct investment in the future of the industry. It is helping mold the future for women’s wrestling as we know it.

Launched in late 2025, Lodestone is a free seminar designed for experienced women wrestlers, with Bayley covering expenses to remove financial barriers. Some performers have all the talent in the world, but like most in this economy, financial hardships are holding them back. Bayley is eliminating that road block. The camp blends in-ring training with mentorship, leadership development, and real-world insight. It has featured appearances from top names like John Cena, Bianca Belair, and Rhea Ripley giving attendees access to a wide range of perspectives. These attendees are able to pick the brains of some of the greatest performers of all time.

Participants are selected from applicants and brought together for intensive sessions that include workouts, discussions, and hands-on coaching. More than just a training camp, Lodestone functions as a bridge between generations, reinforcing the collaborative culture that helped define the Four Horsewomen era.

Bayley has described the project as a passion initiative, one rooted in her desire to give back and ensure women’s wrestling continues to grow beyond the foundation her generation built.

Building the future while honoring the past

What separates Bayley from many of her peers is how seamlessly she has transitioned from revolutionary figure to architect of the future. While still active at a high level, she has embraced a dual role, competing while actively preparing others to succeed.

Her career reflects the broader arc of women’s wrestling in WWE. From fighting for time in NXT to headlining major events and now mentoring the next wave, Bayley has been present at every key stage of that transformation.

In many ways, her legacy is still being written. Not just in title reigns or accolades, but in the wrestlers who will emerge from Lodestone and carry forward the standard she helped create, ensuring the division’s momentum never slows.

  • Main Event Hijack: Pat McAfee Disrupts WrestleMania Story

Main Event Hijack: Pat McAfee Disrupts WrestleMania Story

There is a difference between heat and rejection. Right now, what Pat McAfee is getting ahead of WrestleMania does not feel like the kind WWE is hoping for.

McAfee is charismatic, recognizable and has proven he can deliver in big moments. But this is not just another segment or celebrity cameo. It is not even a vehicle to push a product. This is the main event scene of WrestleMania, and fans are pushing back, not quietly either. To them, this is not adding to the story. It is replacing it.

The story fans were invested in

For months, the emotional core of this build has centered on Cody Rhodes and Randy Orton. Twenty years of history does not require much setup. At its best, the feud felt layered, personal and rooted in that history. It felt like a WrestleMania main event should feel: earned.

That is why the frustration is so loud.

McAfee’s insertion does not feel like a twist that enhances the narrative. It feels like a pivot that interrupts it. Instead of deepening the conflict between Rhodes and Orton, the focus shifts outward to a personality who was not part of the journey fans were following. Once that shift happens, it is hard to ignore.

When the reveal is not worth the build

Mystery angles live and die by their payoff. They can elevate a story or derail it. Wrestling fans will buy in, speculate and debate for weeks if the reveal delivers.

    This one did not.

The reaction was not explosive or satisfying. It was confusion, followed by disappointment. Not because McAfee is incapable, but because the role he stepped into felt larger than what fans believed he should occupy. Expectations matter, and WWE set them high.

    The “main character” problem

There is an unspoken rule in wrestling: the biggest matches should belong to the wrestlers who carried the story.

    Rhodes and Orton.

Right now, it does not feel that way. Instead of standing at the center, they are part of a story that increasingly revolves around McAfee’s motives, promos and presence. The gravity of the main event has shifted, and not in a way that elevates the people it is supposed to.

For a fan base that has spent years asking for long-term storytelling and payoff, that is a tough pill to swallow.

It feels too corporate, not organic

Modern fans are more aware than ever. They understand media deals, cross-promotion and branding. That awareness is working against this angle.

McAfee is more than a commentator who wrestles occasionally. He is a major media figure with ties outside WWE. When he becomes central to the biggest storyline of the year, it does not feel accidental. It feels strategic, and not in a storytelling sense.

That perception breaks immersion. Instead of asking what happens next, fans start asking why this is happening at all.

The promo that made it worse

If there was a chance to win fans over, it likely depended on McAfee’s delivery.

Instead, going off script, his tone criticizing the product, calling out the fan base and positioning himself above the current landscape had the opposite effect. The following week, WWE then proceeded to double down, and produce another promo where Pat’s “huge announcement” was that WrestleMania 42 tickets would be 25% off for that weekend. It’s also very hypocritical writing. Nothing says “we don’t care about your feelings” like a pathetic begging of “please buy our tickets, here’s a coupon!”

Wrestling fans will embrace a villain, but there is a line between playing a heel and sounding dismissive of the audience. Right now, that line feels blurred.

WrestleMania is not the place for this experiment

This might work elsewhere. A SummerSlam angle, a Royal Rumble twist or a long-term story could have potential.

    But WrestleMania is different.

It is where stories are meant to pay off, not pivot. It is the culmination, where full-time stars carry the weight of the biggest matches and the audience expects resolution.

That is why this feels off.

It is not about McAfee, it is about timing

This is not a rejection of McAfee as a performer. I have been a fan of his since his outlandish days as a punter for the Indianapolis Colts. I have followed his media path since his podcast was out of the back of a box truck. With Pat, he has proven he belongs in WWE in some capacity. He is entertaining, committed and understands the business. We get that.

    But this moment feels misplaced.

Fans do not want to see this spot given to someone who was not part of the climb, especially when the people who were are still there.

    The bottom line

Fans are rejecting this because it feels like a detour at the worst possible time.

They wanted Rhodes vs. Orton to stand on its own. They wanted the story they invested in to reach a natural conclusion. They wanted WrestleMania’s main event to feel like the culmination of everything that came before it.

    Instead, they got something else.

In wrestling, sometimes that says more than any reaction ever could.

-Gunther slides into the ring and says while he’s solving Heyman’s problem, Rollins is making him angry because he strolled around for years acting like he’s the best in the ring.

-Gunther says he’s really the best in the ring and says Rollins became a youthful idiot for Heyman. He says it’s personal for him to expose Rollins.

Rollins & Gunther exchange right hands with one another but Gunther sets up for a powerbomb on Rollins.

-Rollins sends Gunther crashing out off the ring with a thrust kick and sets up for a Curb Stomp but Gunther retreats through the crowd to avoid Rollins.

-Adam Pearce says there’s 1 signature on the contract already and it’s time to get the 2nd one on there.

-He introduces Oba Femi & Femi makes his way to the ring then Pearce hands the contract to Femi and he signs it.

-Paul Heyman appears on the top of the entrance ramp and says he can’t remember the last time that he saw someone rise to the top as fast as Femi has.

-He says Femi is the most violent person to come to WWE since Brock Lesnar and says he’s the fastest rising star to the top since Lesnar but says all of that will come to an end at Night 2 of WrestleMania 42 when everything comes crashing down and Lesnar defeats him.

-Heyman says his door will always be open to Femi & Femi tells Heyman that it’s taking everything out of him not to beat him down right now.

-He says the physical scars would heal for Heyman but the emotional scars of defeating Lesnar would last forever for Heyman.

-He says 2 months ago, Heyman & Lesnar came into the ring and issued an Open Challenge for WrestleMania 42 for whoever cared to step up.

-He says Heyman & Lesnar rightfully didn’t care who Lesnar faces because Lesnar would win but he has 4 weeks of history to prove that he can beat Lesnar.

-He says himself, Heyman & the fans can feel it then says if Heyman was honest, he would have said that Lesnar is scared of him. He says he’s always been the one.

    Tag Team Match
Je Von Evans & Dragon Lee defeated JD McDonagh & Rusev via Styles Clash on McDonagh (8:12)

-World Heavyweight Champion CM Punk & 2026 Royal Rumble Winner Roman Reigns cut a promo on each other to hype up the main event of night 2 of WrestleMania 42.

  • WWE Raw: Rusev Loses Tag Team Match, Stands Tall Afterwards

WWE Raw: Rusev Loses Tag Team Match, Stands Tall Afterwards

At WrestleMania 42, we have a Ladder Match for the Intercontinental Championship Match. Four of those six competitors competed tonight in tag team action when Je’Von Evans and Dragon Lee battled Rusev and JD McDonagh. While it will be every man for themselves this weekend, these teams have to work together tonight to get a slight mental advantage.

While Dragon Lee and Je’Von Evans have been friendly in the past, it was interesting to see if JD McDonagh and Rusev would work well together. In the early going, they did solid, but it was Je’Von Evans who had everyone reeling with his ferocious offense.

JD was even showing off as well, hitting a Moonsault to the outside. But, when the likes of Je’Von Evans went to the well to often for a high-flying maneuver, Rusev was able to catch and destroy.

    https://x.com/bodyslamnet/status/2043872941213880494?s=46

When Je’Von’s offense lacks, Dragon Lee was there to pick up the slack. Dragon and JD had some very fun back-and-forth offense while they were in the ring together, including Dragon Lee picking up the win with a Styles Clash.

Before Je’Von and Dragon could even celebrate, Rusev was on the attack post-match. Then, here came Rey Mysterio and Penta to join the fray. This rounds out all the WrestleMania competitors, but Rusev laid them all out. Even JD McDonagh.

    https://x.com/bodyslamnet/status/2043874239699107979?s=46

At WrestleMania 42, Penta will put his intercontinental championship on the line against Rusev, Je’Von Evans, Dragon Lee, Rey Mysterio & JD McDonagh. This will air on the first hour of WrestleMania Night 2, Sunday, on ESPN.

  • WWE RAW: Kairi Sane Upsets IYO Sky, Asuka Gets Involved

WWE RAW: Kairi Sane Upsets IYO Sky, Asuka Gets Involved

In the first hour of WWE RAW tonight, Asuka and Kairi Sane interrupted an interview that IYO Sky was doing. There, Asuka made it clear that Kairi is on her side, and tonight, she wants IYO to go one-on-one with Sane. While hesitant at first, Kairi agreed and the match was made.

    https://x.com/bodyslamnet/status/2043862899425149351?s=46

When the match began, both competitors were off to a fast start. Quickly, the match took a spill to the outside, where IYO Sky hit a Moonsault off the barricade onto Kairi Sane before heading to a commercial.

As the match started to wind down, it looked like IYO Sky had this match won. But, Asuka got involved and slammed IYO’s head into the ring post. This caused Rhea Ripley to make her presence known. But, before she could hit Asuka with the Riptide, Jade Cargill attacked from behind.

    https://x.com/bodyslamnet/status/2043865840353775957?s=46

IYO Sky hit a suicide dive to take Jade out, but when she turned her attention back to Kairi, Asuka got involved again and helped Kairi Sane pick up the win. Things are heating up!

  • WWE RAW: LA Knight And The Usos Beat MFT’s

WWE RAW: LA Knight And The Usos Beat MFT’s

Earlier in the night on WWE RAW, The Usos and LA Knight were approached by Solo Sikoa and the rest of the MFT’s, except Tama Tonga. Solo mentioned that he didn’t know where Tama was, but he also wondered why Jimmy and Jey Uso were hanging out with a loser like LA Knight.

Of course, this caused an argument and LA Knight said that he and the Usos needed practice before their six-man tag team match at WrestleMania against The Vision and iShowSpeed. So, the six-man tag was made.

    https://x.com/bodyslamnet/status/2043855254450581875?s=46

The match didn’t end up going too long, but it was the end that had the MFT’s in disarray. While both teams had some solid offense, Solo Sikoa was the one to take the action to the outside of the ring. That’s when he saw Tama Tonga in the crowd, and asked him where he was. While Tama didn’t answer and just stared at Solo and Talla Tonga, Solo continued to grill him. Meanwhile, LA Knight was able to hit the BFT on Tonga Loa and pick up the win for his team.

    https://x.com/bodyslamnet/status/2043857181691322679?s=46

The MFT’s are supposed to take in The Wyatt Sicks this Friday on SmackDown. We’ll see if Tama and Solo can co-exist! Stay tuned for more WWE RAW coverage.

WWE RAW: Lyra Valkyria Defeats Charlotte, Tempers Flare

    • WWE RAW is live on Netflix for the go-home show heading into WrestleMania 42. Apart of that event, the Women’s Tag Team Championships will be on the line when Nia Jax and Lash Legend defend their gold against Lyra Valkyria and Bayley, Charlotte and Alexa & The Bella Twins in a fatal-four-way tag team match. Though, it was mentioned on commentary that Nikki Bella is rehabbing an ankle injury and is hoping to be ready by the weekend. Her participation is up in the air at this point.

Tonight, two of those participants in Lyra Valkyria and Charlotte went one-on-one to see if maybe they could gain an advantage heading into the grandest stage of them all.

During the match, both women had some great offense and some very close near-falls, such as Charlotte perfectly landing her Moonsault, but Lyra Valkyria stayed in it. Things started to change when Charlotte shoved Valkyria into Bayley, who was at ringside.

    https://x.com/bodyslamnet/status/2043849401836134477?s=46

This only infuriated Bayley, who tripped up Charlotte and allowed Lyra Valkyria to get the roll-up on Charlotte and score the victory. After the match, Charlotte and Alexa Bliss got into a shoving match with Bayley and Lyra Valkyria. Things are heating up heading into WrestleMania!
